Group Investment Director

At dentsu, we're committed to helping our clients navigate the ever-changing media landscape and stay ahead of the curve. As our next Group Investment Director, you'll play a key role in driving our media investment strategy and leading our team to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
The Role:- Develop and implement effective media investment strategies that drive business growth and ROI for our clients.
- Lead a high-performing team of media investment specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure they have the skills and expertise needed to succeed.
- Collaborate closely with our client leads to understand their business objectives and develop tailored media investment plans that meet their needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media owners, media auditors, and other industry partners to ensure we have access to the best media opportunities for our clients.
- Present and articulate complex media investment strategies and opportunities to clients and stakeholders, ensuring they understand the value proposition and benefits of our approach.
- Lead the investment response on larger and more complex client briefs, working closely with our media planning and buying teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Manage contract negotiations and contract tracking for client investments, ensuring we meet our commitments and deliver value to our clients.
- Proven expertise in the Australian media marketplace, with a deep understanding of the latest trends, technologies, and innovations.
- Ability to use and understand market and proprietary investment tools and systems, with a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- High competency in media investment strategies and tactics, with a track record of delivering results-driven solutions for clients.
- Comfortable leading key client relationships for investment and implementation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience leading direct reports and mentoring a team, with a strong focus on developing and empowering others to succeed.
