Contaminated Land Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Contaminated Land Consultant to join our team in Canberra.

This is a challenging opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact on environmental field works, data interpretation, and project management.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments, including drilling, hydrogeological testing, and site validation
  • Collect and analyze environmental samples, such as soil, groundwater, and landfill gas
  • Develop accurate conceptual site models and prepare detailed field notes
  • Author technical assessment reports and provide recommendations
  • Oversee contractors and ensure safe, compliant, and quality field works programs
  • Apply relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines to support project deliverables
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients, and collaborate with the national team

About You:

  • 2-4 years of experience in contaminated land management or a related field
  • Relevant consulting experience, including business development, proposal writing, and delivering client outcomes
  • Experience managing small to medium contaminated-site projects
  • Knowledge of soil contaminants, site sampling techniques, investigation methodologies, and remediation technologies
  • Understanding of NSW regulations pertaining to contaminated site management
