Job Description:

The Cyber Security Officer will play a critical role in managing and mitigating cyber risk to protect our systems and information assets from cyber threats. This position requires expertise in aligning with industry frameworks and maintaining a suite of policies and procedures for cyber security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align with industry frameworks and standards
  • Defend and protect systems and information assets
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation for cyber security
  • Update and maintain the critical service asset register
  • Review and propose cyber security solutions
  • Maintain SIEM/SOC capability
  • Manage vulnerability reporting and response to cyber security incidents
  • Define cyber security requirements for partners and suppliers
  • Establish an annual review process for partners and suppliers
  • Chair steering committee and advisory board meetings
  • Conduct regular training and phishing exercises for staff
  • Alert staff to new threats
  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Cyber Security role
  • Previous experience in Identity Access management
  • Knowledge of current cyber security tools and procedures
  • Knowledge of current and emerging cyber security threats, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Knowledge or experience with protecting environments with EDR tools
  • Understanding of NIST CSF or similar
  • Comfortable presenting solutions and proposals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in managing relationships between business, partners, and vendors
