Job Title: Principal Inclusive Designer

This role plays a pivotal part in the bank's mission to embed accessibility and inclusivity into the design process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process to ensure inclusivity in all digital banking products and services, catering to diverse customer needs, including those with disabilities.
  • Conduct extensive user research and usability testing with diverse user groups to gather insights for improving accessibility and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate inclusive design principles across the organisation and advocate for accessibility in all projects.
  • Develop and advise on accessibility guidelines in line with current standards and legal requirements.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of accessibility initiatives, driving continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in aesthetic, inclusive, and accessible design.
  • Proven experience leading design projects and collaborating with large, multidisciplinary teams, preferably in large corporations.
  • Strong presentation and persuasion skills, with the ability to articulate the value of inclusive design to various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, along with familiarity with front-end development practices and their impact on accessibility.
