Job Description:
">The role of Advanced Trainee in Intensive Care Medicine is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to develop skills and expertise in patient assessment, critical care management, and leadership.
">You will be based at a leading hospital with a 47-bed ICU unit, dedicated to post-cardiac surgical patients. Your responsibilities will include participating in the management of critically ill patients, performing tasks such as patient documentation, preparation of discharge summaries, and contributing to the supervision of junior medical staff.
">As an Advanced Trainee, you will work closely with experienced healthcare professionals to assess patients, formulate management plans, manage airways, insert central venous and arterial lines, and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation under supervision.
">You will also have opportunities to participate in teaching activities, lead and contribute to the supervision of more junior medical staff, and engage in professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
">Key Requirements:
">We are seeking candidates with MBBS or equivalent qualifications, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
">Demonstrated time management and problem-solving skills in the clinical setting are essential for success in this role.
