Job Summary
Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered nursing care to patients, families, and communities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality care outcomes
- Supervise and support less experienced clinicians to achieve quality care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
- Develop and maintain effective communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing nursing care in a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualized person-centered care
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care
- Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, including evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload and deliver care with integrity and accountability
- Evidence of a current unrestricted driver's license and ability to maintain
