Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered nursing care to patients, families, and communities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality care outcomes
  • Supervise and support less experienced clinicians to achieve quality care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
  • Develop and maintain effective communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing nursing care in a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualized person-centered care
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care
  • Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, including evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload and deliver care with integrity and accountability
  • Evidence of a current unrestricted driver's license and ability to maintain
