We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Violence Specialist to join our team at The Care Hub in Bendigo. As a key member of our integrated team, you will work with families, children, and young people who are experiencing high-risk family violence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver interventions that enhance parenting capacity and family functioning through a family violence lens.
- Provide secondary consultation and co-work with other practitioners to ensure a collaborative approach to supporting families.
- Develop key relationships and work collaboratively with the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) to ensure effective support for families.
- Have a solid understanding of the Child Protection and Welfare system in Victoria and be able to apply contemporary family violence theoretical frameworks.
- You will have experience managing risk and safety, as well as providing secondary consultation and co-work with other practitioners.
- You will have a strong understanding of family violence, including perpetrator family violence, and be able to apply contemporary family violence theoretical frameworks.
- You will have experience in developing key relationships and working collaboratively with government agencies and other stakeholders.
- You will have a strong reflective practice skillset and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
