Job Title: Paediatric Haematologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Haematologist to fill this critical role.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to patients with blood diseases, including direct care of inpatients and outpatients, as well as supporting other departments in the care of their patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide laboratory pathology diagnostics, review of blood films, bone marrow biopsies, flow cytometry, and all aspects of blood banking.
  • Haematopathology workload will include an expectation to participate in routine sign-out of paediatric and adult haematology reports.
  • Participate in the after-hours paediatric laboratory on-call roster.
  • Develop and implement service protocols and policies.
  • Provide teaching, training, public communication, and contribute to research in paediatric blood diseases.
