Are you looking for a dynamic internship that will give you the opportunity to shape smarter, safer, and more member-focused experiences? We are offering an exciting summer internship in data analytics where you'll dive into the fast-paced world of automotive services.

About the Internship Program
  • This internship gives budding professionals valuable industry experience and the opportunity to see our values and culture firsthand.
  • Weekly Lunch & Learns targeted to improve your interpersonal skills and help with the transition from campus to the corporate world.
  • You'll be provided with exciting and meaningful work to make a real impact to SA.
  • Work on Summer Intern Group Project with your entire internship cohort and present this in your final week.
  • Regular mentoring sessions with a Senior Manager to help you grow in the right direction.
  • A 'ride along' with an RAA Patrol to see some of what we do in the SA community.

Over the eight-week internship, you will work with the other interns and your team to develop your professional skills, business acumen and gain insight into a rewarding career at RAA.

Your Responsibilities
  • Clean and validate automotive datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Research market trends, emerging technologies, and customer behaviours.
  • Create stunning data visualisations using Tableau, Power BI, and SQL.
  • Analyse patterns and performance to uncover actionable insights.
  • Explore machine learning projects—from predictive modelling to customer segmentation.

You'll also collaborate cross-functionally, contribute to business improvement initiatives, and help shape the future of member experience through data-driven storytelling.

Requirements
  • Currently studying a bachelor's degree with a key focus on Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Statistics and/or similar, due to complete in 2025 or 2026.
  • Experience in customer service, retail and/or hospitality is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Tableau, SQL and Power BI highly desirable.
  • High academic achievement (minimum GPA 5.0 or credit average).
  • Teamwork demonstrated through extracurricular activities (e.g. sports, clubs, work, societies).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Results orientated and focused with high attention to detail.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Strong sense of professionalism with the ability to work autonomously.
