We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Real Estate Transactions and Acquisitions team in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full transaction life-cycle, including sourcing acquisitions, underwriting and evaluating the acquisition, negotiating the agreement, coordinating the due diligence process, and responsibility for closing.
  • Oversee team management responsibility for direct Real Estate transactions and asset management in Australia.
  • Execute capital market activity as it relates to financing of the assets in accordance with terms required by Portfolio Managers.
  • Drive strategy and execution of Australian investment opportunities from a market perspective.
  • Represent the division by sitting in the legal entity board and APAC Real Estate Investment Committee.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in the Real Estate sector, preferably from institutional Asset Management, Investment Banking, Private Equity or Real Estate development.
  • Demonstrable track record of sourcing and closing Australian Real Estate transactions across Commercial (logistics, office, industrial, retail) and/or Residential assets.
  • Experience in structuring Real Estate transactions on behalf of foreign capital for non-discretionary and discretionary investment accounts would be beneficial.
  • Sound experience across both direct Real Estate transactions/acquisitions and asset management.
  • Established relationships with investors, which can be leveraged to drive new business in direct Real Estate mandates for Australia.
