Platypus Retail Sales Assistant

This exciting role at our Green Hills store offers the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating unforgettable shopping experiences.

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Management team in driving sales, operational excellence and contributing to the store's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service and create memorable shopping experiences
  2. Build relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences
  3. Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets and drive business results
  4. Assist with visual merchandising and maintain store displays to create an engaging and visually appealing environment
  5. Participate in stock management, including receiving, processing and storing stock as required

Requirements:

  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and creating exceptional shopping experiences
  • Passion for streetwear and sneaker culture
  • Ability to work well within a fast-paced and energetic team environment
  • Self-motivated and willing to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, late nights and Mondays to Wednesdays
