Role Summary

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Child Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide mental health care to children and their families, and work collaboratively with public mental health clinicians and support services.

Job Description:

  • Provide expertise in supporting mental health clinicians and support services to address the needs of children and their families experiencing mental health difficulties.
  • Provide clinical supervision of CAMHS Clinicians.
  • Conduct primary and secondary consultations with external services, including Child Protection and Family support services.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Clinical Psychology or Psychiatric Nursing enabling registration with AHPRA.
  • At least 5 years experience working with children and their families in clinical mental health.
  • Experience in the provision of primary and secondary consultation.
