About the Role

This is an exceptional chance to drive innovation and progress in high voltage metering installations. As our ideal candidate, you will possess expertise in designing, planning, and operating complex metering systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient delivery of projects.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice on high voltage metering solutions, including transmission and bulk metering points
  • Managing Meter Coordinator agreements with market participants, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations
  • Overseeing infield meter testing and inspection programs
  • Identifying risks and developing contingency plans
  • Creatings reports and technology roadmaps, sharing knowledge and insights with stakeholders
  • Designing, building, and maintaining efficient code that adheres to industry standards
  • Providing technical expertise for software configuration and system testing
  • Assisting in resolving defective metering equipment and installations
  • Developing and testing new meter programs, software, and firmware releases
  • Driving the implementation of a transmission metering management solution (MMS)
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Expertise in high voltage metering, high voltage transmission metering installations, and design
  • Demonstrated experience in managing regulatory compliance obligations for Meter Coordinator and Meter Provider responsibilities from a transmission metering perspective
  • Smart metering solutions design and operation experience
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets, diagnose outliers, and resolve potentially erroneous configurations
  • Technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working with complex utility businesses (preferred)
