Job Title: Experienced Accounting Manager
Job Description:Leading the Accounting Services Section, we are seeking an experienced manager to oversee timely and efficient delivery of accounting services. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing financial advice and collaborating with business units on solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Leading a team of accounting professionals to deliver high-quality services.
To be successful in this role, applicants should demonstrate:
- Well-developed leadership skills and substantial experience in managing accounting services.
- Working knowledge and experience in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing card, and banking in a large organisation.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in applying relevant legislation and Treasurer's Instructions to departmental accounting procedures and practices.
- High-level skills in using complex financial management systems and other business software packages.
