About the role

This is an opportunity to take ownership of your market and report on a wide range of topics, including environment, sport, politics, and more.

As a journalist, you will be responsible for researching, compiling, and producing high-quality news stories for our weekday bulletins.

Liaising with editors and camera operators to ensure our bulletins meet deadline and are of the highest standards is also part of the job.

A university qualification in journalism with at least one year's experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a demonstrated understanding of how to compile a ratings-winning bulletin are essential requirements.

The ability to identify story opportunities, operate with initiative and flexibility, and contribute positively to working relationships are also key characteristics of this role.
