Job Title: Principal Structural Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Coffs Harbour. As a key member of our structural design group, you will be responsible for leading projects from concept to construction and technical job delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead structural design projects for commercial buildings, residential developments, fit-out, aged care and educational facilities
  • Work closely with clients, responding efficiently to their needs and attending meetings and inspections
  • Act as first point of contact for design coordination and reviews
  • Manage project costings, monitor project performance and ensure that key dates are met and projects remain within budget
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering and ideally CPEng certification
  • Proven experience working as a structural engineering consultant in the Australian market
  • Knowledge of ETABS, RC Building, RAPT, SpaceGas highly valued
  • Ability to deliver projects across various types of structures within the residential / health / education / commercial / industrial sectors
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong team ethic to work collaboratively across functional groups
