We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team as a Cook. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your passion for food and creativity in the kitchen to provide delicious, healthy meals for children.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of children by preparing meals that account for special dietary requirements and allergies. You will also use your organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals for children
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Work collaboratively with the Centre Director to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
  • Current Queensland Working with Children Check
