About the Role

The NSW Government is seeking an experienced Environmental Protection Specialist to join our team in the Operations division. As an Environmental Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting the environment and people from harm through the management of licensed premises and investigation of environmental incidents and complaints.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a sound understanding of the relevant policies, practices, and legislative requirements that govern our operations. You will have knowledge and experience in one or more environment protection areas, including air, water, noise, waste, chemicals, hazardous materials, radiation, and environmental planning. You will also have excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt and respond to changing organisational needs.

About the Team

The Operations division is a dedicated team of environmental regulators who work to protect the environment and people from harm. As an Environmental Protection Specialist, you will be working in a supportive, diverse, and results-driven team who work across the Western Region on significant environmental protection matters.
