The Recruitment Hive is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead and manage activities for planning, development, and implementation of projects and systems in the ICT infrastructure and capability space.

This role will involve advising on improvement and enhancement of organisational project methodologies, leading and managing capability lifecycles of systems development or enhancements, and planning, initiating and managing procurements to support program and organisational requirements.

Key responsibilities will include taking full responsibility for leading and managing large stakeholder groups focused on business outcomes, leading and managing project review and reporting mechanisms, project financial management, change control, and quality reporting. Additionally, coordinating project resourcing according to priorities and identifying and managing project/program risks and issues.

The successful candidate will possess formal qualifications in Project Management, procurement, and finance, with a strong background in Financial management (Level 4 SFIA), Organisational change management (Level 5 SFIA), Project management (Level 5 SFIA), Requirements definition and management (Level 4 SFIA), and Stakeholder relationship management (Level 5 SFIA).

The estimated salary for this permanent position is $410,000 per annum, based on market rates for Project Managers in the Canberra region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage activities for planning, development, and implementation of projects and systems

Requirements
  • Formal qualifications in Project Management, procurement, and finance
