Senior Tax Manager

This is a senior tax management role where you will lead the team in managing tax compliance and advisory work. You will also be responsible for mentoring staff members to ensure their growth and success within a stable, technology-forward practice.

The Role

As a Senior Tax Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of tax compliance and advisory work. Most of your time will be spent reviewing tax returns and overseeing lodgement programs. You will work with various clients and handle complex scenarios when they arise. Additionally, you will support and guide junior and senior team members while maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Review tax returns and manage lodgement programs for businesses, trusts, and individuals
  • Handle complex tax matters including consolidations and business groups as needed
  • Support billing processes and month-end procedures
  • Guide and mentor junior and senior team members
  • Conduct tax research and provide technical advice
  • Contribute to client training sessions

  • 7-12+ years in Australian public practice with 2+ years managing lodgement program
  • Deep expertise in business tax, consolidations, and complex structures
