Medical Imaging Nurse

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Imaging team on a full-time, fixed-term basis for a Parental Leave cover position.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a Medical Imaging practice or facility, with exposure to procedures such as CT Coronary Angiogram bookings and procedures, biopsies, core and deep tissue, nuclear medicine services, and contrast administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nursing assessments, cannulation, cardiac stress tests, and BMD scans in accordance with MMI and MQ Health standards.
- Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to provide high-quality customer service and best practice interventional imaging procedures.
- Assist Radiographers in setting up procedures, operating equipment, and administering drugs during CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine procedures.
- Inform patients and respond to questions and concerns about imaging procedures.
- Respect patient requests and ensure compliance with radiation protection and licensing standards.
