Lead Primary Learning and Teaching

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional to support teachers in enhancing student outcomes.

  • Support teachers in using data to monitor student progress and inform instructional adjustments.
  • Provide feedback on classroom pedagogy and planning, aiming to improve teaching practices.
  • Promote and facilitate literacy and numeracy strategies across curriculum areas, driving academic achievement.
  • Monitor and analyze Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student achievement data to accelerate literacy progress, fostering equity in education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor, coach and advise teachers on classroom pedagogy and planning, developing their expertise.
  • Analyze data to track student progress, informing instructional decisions that drive improved learning outcomes.
  • Promote and implement literacy and numeracy strategies across curriculum areas, ensuring academic excellence.
  • Apply formative assessments to guide curriculum decisions, continuously improving student learning experiences.
  • Share knowledge of literacy and numeracy strategies with teachers, supporting their development and growth.
