Job Description:

Geelong Leather is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality leather goods. We are seeking skilled Production Workers to join our dynamic team in Culcairn, NSW.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing company in the Leather manufacturing industry. As a Production Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and production of our leather goods.

  • Work Monday to Friday (optional overtime Saturdays)
  • Be available for varying work hours from 6am to 5pm (start/finish times depend on departments)

You will be physically capable of repetitive manual labor including sorting, lifting up to 20kg, trimming, and packing of cattle hides, wetblue leather, and small skins.

As a Production Worker, you must be punctual, reliable, and a team player. You will also demonstrate a willingness to learn, including machine operating, safe knife handling, leather quality, forklift operation, hide & skin grading.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Strong physical abilities and endurance
  2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  4. Basic knowledge of leather goods production process
  5. Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $26.10 - $30.13 per hour
  • Expected hours: 38 - 45 per week
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Overtime
