Job Description

This role involves the delivery of managed services and technical support for Cloud and Datacentre technologies in accordance with contracted service level agreements for customers. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and vendors to provide technical support and assist with incident and change management.

The primary focus of this role is on delivering brilliant service to multiple enterprise customers across key technologies including VMware, Microsoft, Cisco, and Public Cloud. A strong vendor management focus is essential in this role, working closely with various vendors to drive the right outcomes for customers.

A key aspect of this job is pro-actively maintaining and managing critical internal and customer virtualised compute environments. This includes identifying and remedying vulnerabilities within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across multiple platforms and vendors.

Other responsibilities include assisting users with access and security management, owning the administration and management of user access domains and groups, monitoring, diagnosing, and solving performance issues that are or have the potential to be service impacting.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in the world of private and public cloud computing technologies and their large-scale application. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
