Job Summary

The Operations Supervisor will oversee rural construction projects, resealing programs and maintenance works on State Highway 12.

  • Deliver rural construction projects and resealing programs effectively;
  • Implement maintenance works on State Highway 12 ensuring compliance with safety standards;
  • Develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards on State Highway 12;
  • Record project progress accurately including budgeting and scheduling;
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and objectives;
  • Provide training and guidance to staff members as needed;
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction and relevant experience;
  • Satisfactory completion of an approved supervisors course or suitable experience;
  • NSW Class C Drivers Licence or equivalent;
  • Traffic Control Work Training Card (SafeWork NSW) and/or Certification;
  • Copper Cable Location Certification;
  • SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card ('white card');
  • Transport for NSW Asset Inspectors Certificate;
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable);
  • Safe Work near Overhead Power Lines Certificate (desirable).
