Job Overview:

The role of a Senior Engineering Operations Lead is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of engineering activities within a manufacturing environment. This position involves overseeing and supporting engineers and draftspersons to guarantee high-quality output, adherence to industry standards, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise team members in planning, organizing, and executing engineering projects within agreed timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations throughout the entire engineering process.
  • Allocate and manage engineering tasks to align with project priorities and team capacity.
  • Monitor progress and report to senior management on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet customer requirements and ensure seamless project execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years' relevant industry experience.
  • Membership with Engineers Australia or equivalent professional body.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing environments, electrical products, and fabrication.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
