Finance Director - Strategic Budget Management

About the Role:
  • Work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement budget management strategies and plans to support the financial sustainability of the Agency and the NPS Program.
  • Deliver budgets to support resourcing and execution of activities across the Agency.
  • Provide clear and concise strategic budget and financial management advice to assist with decision making through forecasting, reporting, and insights.
  • Enable financial business partnering functions across the Agency with budget and reporting to achieve consistent and compliant outcomes.
About Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Able to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate budget management strategies, initiatives, policies, and procedures.
  • Analyse budget outcomes and prepare robust and reliable forecasts and insights to inform decision making.
  • Engage and influence senior leaders and budget managers across the Agency and NPS Program.
  • High attention to detail and ability to learn, contest information, and promote continuous improvement.
