About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Room Leader to join our team at Happy Days Macarthur Square. As a key member of our Early Childhood Education and Care team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of educators to deliver high-quality programs for children aged six weeks to five years old.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of educators to achieve the objectives of the Centre and support staff in their development
  • Assist with the mentoring of permanent and casual employees
  • Implement an approved curriculum, role modeling for children in developing lifelong skills and instilling a passion for learning
  • Design and deliver captivating and enjoyable lessons for individuals and small groups of children
  • Ensure consistent high-quality practice of the National Quality Framework
  • Maintain accurate records for each child in care

Requirements
  • Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Early Childhood / Children's Services or equivalent
  • First Aid and CPR certification
