Contract Negotiator and Supplier Relationship Manager

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the on-boarding of suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities- Investigate potential suppliers for direct parts and repair services;
- Identify and address shortfalls in the supplier base to support commodity requirements;
- Expedite quotes and orders from suppliers to ensure delivery, quality, and corporate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved;
- Generate weekly and monthly Supply Chain Management reports and provide them to the appropriate Project Manager;
- Prepare import and export permits;
- Provide administrative support for the Online Travel Booking System;
- Monitor the Supply Chain Management generic email inbox and distribute correspondence accordingly;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to administer all affairs between us and suppliers, taking the lead and driving discussions to resolve problems;
- Demonstrated experience dealing with export/import and trade compliance requirements;
- Demonstrated experience in cost analysis, proposal negotiations, including cost, terms, and conditions, and scopes of work;
- Demonstrated experience in expediting and shortage management;
To be successful in this role, applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian government security clearance.
