Commercial Contract Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contract Specialist to manage and oversee all aspects of contract administration, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will support the company's strategic objectives by effectively managing commercial issues associated with assigned programs, including contract management, negotiations, supplier relationships, and customer engagement.

  • Drafts and reviews commercial correspondence in consultation with stakeholders.
  • Identifies commercial risks, develops and implements solutions.
  • Manages supplier assessment and due diligence activities as required.
  • Drafts, reviews, and negotiates complex commercial agreements, including contract variations, confidentiality agreements, teaming agreements, and contracts.
  • Works with key stakeholders to ensure that all requirements and risks are addressed, and appropriate approvals obtained to release documents.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract details, including terms, conditions, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of contract-related activities.

To be successful in this role, you will require a combination of technical knowledge, business acumen, and excellent communication skills. You should have experience working with Defence contract management principles and ITAR regulations. A degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field is preferred. You will also need strong negotiation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
