To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Disability/Aged Care, which demonstrates your understanding of the industry's standards and best practices.
  • NDIS Worker Screening, ensuring you are qualified to work with vulnerable individuals.
  • A Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain), highlighting your commitment to safeguarding children and young people.
  • Proof of working rights, verifying your eligibility to work in Australia.
  • A valid West Australian driver's license, enabling you to transport clients safely.
  • A reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance, guaranteeing the safety of both clients and staff during travel.
  • First Aid and CPR qualifications (or be willing to obtain), demonstrating your ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
  • National Police Clearance, showcasing your trustworthiness and integrity.
  • Manual Handling Certificate, highlighting your understanding of safe lifting techniques and strategies.
  • Medication competency certificate, ensuring you can administer medications safely and correctly.

This is a casual opportunity with flexible shift patterns, including short shifts, allowing you to balance work and personal life.
