Job Opportunity: Team Leader - CAMHS

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and delivery of culturally safe, high-quality mental health services
  • Provide operational and clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team
  • Drive service development and continuous improvement aligned with local and national priorities
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and physical resources to support service efficiency and continuity
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policy, and clinical governance frameworks
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and cross-border service partners
  • Lead incident management, client safety, and quality assurance processes

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in mental health and current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary teams in a clinical setting
  • Strong understanding of community mental health services and governance frameworks
  • Proven ability to lead change, manage resources, and engage teams
  • High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region
