  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensor data into software solutions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A PhD (or equivalent combination of qualifications and research experience) in a relevant field.
  • A demonstrated publication history of authorship on scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and/or reports, grant applications or inventorship on patent applications.
  • Several years' experience in prototyping, designing, testing, and documenting algorithms in computer vision applications.
  • Experience in obtaining research and development funding from government grants, private industry, or other external sources.

Desirable skills include:

  • Expertise in photogrammetric, computer vision, LiDAR, time-of-flight, radar, accelerometers, photogrammetry systems in industrial settings.
  • Designing, testing, and documenting robust, decoupled, and testable software in a related field.
  • Experience with open-source libraries such as OpenCV and Point Cloud Library (PCL), and languages such as MATLAB, Python, C++.
