Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Capability Worker to empower individuals to take control of their financial futures. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver financial literacy education, coaching, and budgeting support to clients in need.

As a key member of our team, you will conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' financial situations, deliver one-on-one and group financial literacy education tailored to diverse needs, create case plans that consider cultural, social, and mental health factors, collaborate with financial counsellors and health professionals to provide holistic support, promote the program and build referral pathways with internal and external stakeholders, maintain accurate records in our client management system, engage in supervision, team meetings and professional development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Community Services Work or higher, with completion of relevant financial literacy education units (CHCEDU005 – Work with clients to identify financial literacy education needs, CHCEDU006 – Improve clients' fundamental financial literacy skills, CHCEDU007 – Provide group education on consumer credit and debt).
  • Current driver's license.
  • Experience in financial literacy, facilitation, or group work.
