Petbarn, a leading pet specialty retailer, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Assistant to join our team in Kedron. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have a real customer service focus, be highly motivated and proactive, and possess high integrity. They will also have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, be composed under stress and pressure, and have a determination to succeed.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and being able to communicate this effectively to customers
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet business objectives
  • Being flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
  • Lifting heavy items, such as bags of dog food, as required
