We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Enrolled Nurse to join our team in the Orthopaedic/Vascular Inpatient Unit at Gosford Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team recognized for excellence, providing high-quality care in a supportive environment.
As an Enrolled Nurse in this unit, you will play a key role in delivering patient-centered nursing care. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, provide physical and emotional support, and perform nursing interventions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide physical and emotional support to patients, including pain management and wound care.
- Perform nursing interventions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including administering medications and monitoring patient health.
- Monitor and assess patient health, collect accurate healthcare information, and contribute to care planning and evaluation.
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia approved qualification for administration of medication (including intravenous medication administration).
- Knowledge and skills/experience in orthopaedic/vascular nursing.
- Understanding of team nursing and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
