About the Role:

We are seeking a Geophysicist to assist with geophysical surveys and data processing. The successful candidate will have a degree in Geophysics or Geology and strong analytical skills.

The position involves assisting with the collection of geophysical datasets, including seismic refraction, MASW, electrical resistivity, magnetics, ground penetrating radar, and electromagnetics. The ideal candidate will also be able to undertake downhole geophysical logging surveys using various techniques.

The selected candidate will work closely with our team to process, draft, and report geophysical data. They must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to engage effectively with colleagues.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Geophysics or Geology
  • Numerical, analytical, and observation skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Familiarity with geophysical acquisition and processing software (desired)
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • Ability to pass a medical exam and regular drug and alcohol screening
