Product Systems Design Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Systems Design Team Lead to join our team.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for two Product Design Team Leads in Adelaide or Melbourne for a leading Defence Organisation.
  • The Product Design Team Lead will provide leadership and activity management of a team of Systems Engineers.

The Systems Engineers in the Product Design Teams are responsible for CMS requirements, design, and formal acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Systems Engineers in the development of CMS requirements, design, and formal acceptance.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the team to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure that all technical documentation is accurate, complete, and meets the required standards.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multi-discipline teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in producing and reviewing technical documentation.
  • Eligible for NV1 Security Clearance.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in leadership of engineering teams.
  • Experience in Naval: Combat Management Systems; Combat Systems; or conducting Systems Engineering lifecycle reviews.
