Job Title: Compliance Governance Expert
Key Responsibilities:- To provide support, advisory, and delivery of compliance matters across major projects.
- To assist in the completion of delivered risk assessments as it relates to impacted compliance obligations and risks.
- To collaborate with legal, risk, and governance colleagues as well as obligation owners to ensure compliance risks are identified and will be appropriately managed upon delivery of the project.
- To work with project stakeholders to develop complaint and business appropriate solutions to manage compliance risks and issues.
- To review and/or design essential documentation required as part of the projects such as policies, standards, processes, procedures, or similar.
- To review any externally facing communications and collateral as it relates to the deliverables of the projects.
- Strong experience in a compliance and legal role within financial services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of superannuation laws and/or financial services laws (financial advice) and related regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional project teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent analytical, research, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience with obligations management systems and risk assessment tools.
- Strong knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks.
