We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Training Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to enhance member capability and capacity.

This position requires strong facilitation skills, with the ability to work in a volunteer-based agency supporting communities across NSW.

The ideal candidate will hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher qualification, as well as relevant qualifications in one or more NSW SES Capability areas.

Job Description

The Operational Training Officer (OTO) is responsible for delivering targeted training and development programs to enhance member capability and capacity.

The OTO coordinates and supports the delivery of quality training and assessment, working closely with volunteer Trainers and Assessors across various NSW SES courses relating to Field Operator Status.

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver training that develops both foundational and technical capabilities for NSW SES members and partner agency personnel across the state.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience facilitating/coordinating training courses and/or training delivery experience
  • Hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher qualification
  • Relevant qualifications in one or more NSW SES Capability areas
