Our clientele faces mounting pressures to enhance their environmental, health, safety, and social performance while minimizing operational risks and maintaining competitiveness. In this role, you will collaborate with a team dedicated to assisting clients in addressing these challenges, transforming sustainability from a mere obligation into a source of value.
You will be part of a national team, working alongside some of the foremost technical experts in Australia, managing a diverse portfolio that includes ESG due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, as well as ESG advisory services aligned with the sustainable operations of leading global organizations.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
In this dynamic and fast-paced position, you will lead multidisciplinary projects across a wide array of ERM clients, exercising a high degree of autonomy. Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Crafting comprehensive technical reports;
- Conducting site audits as the lead assessor (Lead Auditor Credentials are advantageous but not mandatory);
- Overseeing project teams, while coaching and mentoring junior staff;
- Fostering strong client relationships through effective project delivery;
- Developing a robust network of resources by nurturing relationships within ERM and engaging in global technical communities.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
We are in search of a collaborative team player with exceptional interpersonal skills who thrives in a varied environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A degree in science, engineering, or environmental management (or equivalent), with EHS qualifications being a plus;
- A proven history in EHS, ESG, and/or Sustainability consulting;
- Strong experience in environmental/ESG due diligence and/or EHS compliance;
- Familiarity with ESG considerations in mergers and acquisitions, asset divestment, project finance, private equity, liability assessment, value creation, and transaction advisory is preferred;
- Solid business acumen, project management, and business development skills;
- A steadfast commitment to health and safety;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in proposal writing;
- The capability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines;
- An interest in travel, both domestically and internationally;
- A valid driving license.
