Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Machine Operator to join our fast-paced production team at Oji Fibre Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the setup and operation of our Converting machines, ensuring timely and accurate production, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the setup and operation of Converting machines, ensuring timely and accurate production.
  • Prepare tooling and materials for the next order to facilitate quick changeovers.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized, and perform machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Perform in-process quality checks and stack bundles.
  • Assist the Operator to ensure the machinery runs at its optimum performance.
Requirements
  • A proactive and self-starter attitude.
  • Demonstrated performance in current or previous role.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • A methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Driven to exceed targets and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Willingsness and aptitude for training and progression into an Operator position.
  • A strong focus on quality and commitment to upholding Workplace Health & Safety standards.
