Job Title: Machine Operator

At Oji Fibre Solutions, we are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Machine Operator to join our fast-paced production team at our Yatala site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the setup of all aspects of the Converting machines in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare tooling/materials for the next order to facilitate a quick change-over.
  • Keep the work area clean and perform in-process quality checks.
  • Stack bundles and assist the Operator to ensure the machinery runs at its optimum performance.
Requirements:
  • A proactive and self-starter attitude.
  • Demonstrated performance in current/previous role.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • A methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Driven to exceed targets and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Willing and able to work across other machines within your skillset.
  • Willingness and aptitude for training and progression into an Operator position.
  • A strong focus on quality and commitment to upholding Workplace Health & Safety standards.
