Job Description

This role is an entry point for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

You will be working as the first point of contact at one of our medical clinics, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth patient flow.

You will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced health professionals and develop your skills further.

The role involves meeting and greeting clients, attending to phone calls and messages, booking appointments, maintaining specialist calendars, and ensuring confidentiality when dealing with patient information.

This position requires you to possess strong communication skills, time management abilities, and a willingness to learn and grow.

About You

  • You must identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person in accordance with s25 of the Anti-discrimination Act 1991 (Qld).
  • You should be willing and able to undertake a Certificate III Business Administration.
  • You need to demonstrate the ability to work independently, under guidance or direction, and within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • You should have previous experience working with culturally diverse people.
  • You require the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
  • You must have sound knowledge of Microsoft Suite Applications.
  • You need to hold a current and valid National Police Check.
