We are seeking a dedicated Staff Specialist or Visiting Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine to deliver high-quality, patient-centred emergency care at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.
Our team is looking for a medical professional with strong clinical skills and leadership abilities to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive emergency medical care, mentoring junior doctors, and contributing to training programs and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Emergency Care Delivery: Provide high-quality, evidence-based emergency care to patients, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Mentorship and Supervision: Mentor and supervise junior doctors and clinical staff, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Training and Quality Improvement: Contribute to the development of training programs and continuous quality improvement initiatives, ensuring best practices are implemented across the department.
- On-Call Roster: Participate in an on-call roster, providing after-hours support and responding to emergencies as required.
