Emergency Nurse Specialist

As a dedicated nurse, you will form part of a dynamic team in the Emergency Department, providing exceptional care to patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Our fast-paced unit requires you to be proactive and prioritise your workload effectively, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care in accordance with our hospital's Care Values.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs, develop effective care plans, and coordinate delivery to meet those needs; communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager, Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team Leaders, and Shift Leaders to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Support our emergency environment, which involves resuscitation and triage activities as necessary.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- A minimum of one year of experience working in an Emergency Department setting
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and prioritise patient care
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work well within a team and autonomously as required
- Leadership qualities are desirable for this role
- Experience with resus and triage is advantageous
- ALS/PALS certification is desirable
Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications (NSW RN/Midwife grad1-grad8) plus superannuation.
