About the Role

The Lecturer, Educator Development and Recognition, works closely with the Strategic Lead, Educator Development and Recognition and colleagues across the Learning and Teaching Unit (LTU) within a tiered service model. As an Academic Leader in Learning and Teaching Excellence, you will create and produce digital self-help resources and design and lead workshops and development activities that enable QUT staff involved in learning and teaching to develop their pedagogical practice, engage in evidence-based decision-making and expert peer review, and gain recognition through standards based pathways and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Create and deliver high-quality educational resources and workshops to support learning and teaching excellence.
  2. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to advance learning and teaching innovation.

What You Need to Succeed
  • A doctoral qualification or equivalent professional experience and standing.
  • Pedagogical expertise and leadership in learning and teaching, including demonstrated innovative curriculum design and teaching face-to-face and online at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Demonstrated research track record in the scholarship of learning and teaching, evidenced through impactful research activity such as quality publications and grants.
