As an Ophthalmology Department Clinical Fellow, you will engage in hands-on clinical practice at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

In this role, you will provide day-to-day outpatient and inpatient clinical care to patients under the guidance of nominated consultants.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the department delivers high-quality patient care while mentoring junior medical staff to enhance their clinical skills and development.

This position offers opportunities to contribute to teaching and education efforts within the department.

You will support junior medical staff and actively participate in teaching sessions, enriching their learning experience and contributing to ongoing clinical practice improvements.

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Hold a registrable MBBS or equivalent degree with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrate exceptional clinical practice and professional integrity standards.
  • Possess experience in supervising and teaching junior medical staff.
  • Excel in communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement initiatives.
