Interior Design Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Residential Interior Design Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design and renovation of residential interiors, focusing on creating beautiful bathrooms, kitchens, cabinetry, and furniture.

This is a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys working with clients to create unique solutions from small one-off furniture pieces through to larger renovations.

  • Produce 2D and 3D drawings and documentation using Revit, Sketchup, AutoCAD or similar.
  • Work across multiple jobs from design to completion.
  • Conduct interior design consultations, site measures and provide necessary follow-up to progress job.
  • Produce conceptual designs and present confidently.
  • Meet with clients on site and in office.
  • Source and select fixtures and finishes.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors.
  • Administrative assistance and maintaining an organised work environment.

Key qualifications include:

  • Interior Design Qualification.
  • Able to take initiative and work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Proven time management and ability to prioritise.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills.

This position is offered part-time with a view to full-time employment if desired. We offer flexible hours and the opportunity to grow within the business.
