As a Technical Service Delivery Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our centralised IT Service Desk, located in our global head office in South Brisbane.
This permanent full-time role is essential for ensuring the delivery of technology support services and operations so that end users can focus on what matters most – the provision of exceptional care to the community. A key responsibility is to ensure the team is efficiently and effectively executing its operational deliverables, activities, and tasks.
We are looking for an individual who can hit the ground running, provide effective team management, and rapidly build relationships across the organisation. Leadership experience in an IT Support environment with a proven ability to keep a team engaged and motivated – ideally health industry – is highly desirable. Experience working in an ITIL-driven environment and working knowledge of ITIL processes and practices (particularly Incident and Service Request Management) are also required.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications in IT or a related field and have a working knowledge of common IT hardware, software, and applications used within a corporate environment. Passion and dedication for service with an ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels within an organisation are essential. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proactive and curious mindset are also necessary.
As a Technical Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of IT professionals to deliver exceptional technical support services
- Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the IT Service Desk
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
- Maintaining a strong understanding of ITIL processes and practices
- Providing coaching and development opportunities for team members to improve their skills and performance
